Dutch actor Donny Roelvink embraces Islam

Donny Roelvink, a famous actor and model from the Netherlands, made headlines recently when he publicly announced his embrace of Islam.

Islam is spreading faster than ever and many people become Muslims since the start of the Gaza genocide. Another celebrity who has become a Muslim is Donny Roelvink, a model and singer from the Netherlands.

Donny went through a huge accident where a car hit him during a shoot and he had ribs that were broken and a lung that got punctured. Later on, he was diagnosed with cancer and got treatment for it.

All these experiences pushed Donny to want to find spirituality, and he embraced Islam. He fasted in Ramadan during this year and he finally became a Muslim by saying the Shahadah. The news that he embraced Islam went viral all over the world and Muslims were happy to welcome him to the religion. Many people shared him while he took his Shahadah in the mosque. He did not want to share it on social media himself but was okay if anyone else shared it.

Recently he visited in the UAE, visited lots of mosques, and also the month of Ramadan observed closely in a mosque and finally embraced Islam.

Right now, he is in the UAE, really getting into Islam. He spent Ramadan in mosques, paying close attention to everything happening there.

His deepened understanding led him to embrace Islam, citing personal growth as his primary motivation. He talked about his ongoing journey of learning, expressing gratitude for the supportive messages from fans worldwide.

“These are wonderful messages and I would like to thank you for that. I don’t think I’m in that position yet at all. I am learning in this process and I hope that is respected,” he added.

As reported by a Dutch newspaper, Roelvink said in a video message, “I don’t think many people have noticed that I had a special day yesterday,” he said while referring to the day he accepted Islam.

He continued, “Images were taken of this, posted online, and widely reported in the media. That was to be expected when I do that in the presence of a large group of people.”
