OpenAI recently upgrade to ChatGPT was GPT 4 Turbo, launched officially in November 2023. It has a larger context window and stays updated with the latest information. Now, the AI chatbot is about to undergo another upgrade, and this information was leaked by the company.
Last night, Sharp-eye users on Reddit and X (formerly Twitter) caught sight of a blog post that briefly mentioned the GPT-4.5 Turbo model, but the article was deleted quickly after a while. However, this blog post provided information about GPT 4.5 Turbo and its improvements.
Now shows a 404 error, but the cached description suggests that the new model, GPT-4.5 Turbo, is faster, more accurate, and can handle more tasks compared to its predecessor, GPT-4 Turbo.

GPT 4.5 Turbo is going to have an even bigger memory than GPT 4 Turbo, with a whopping 256K tokens. That is about 200,000 words! This means it will be great for handling large documents, research papers, and similar stuff.

- Other AI models with big context windows sometimes miss important details in large documents, leading to unreliable results.

OpenAI has not said anything about the leak, so we do not know if GPT-4.5 Turbo and the June 2024 update are real. Interestingly, this news came out around March 14th, which is also when GPT-4 was launched a year ago.
