Under the patronage of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Pakistan’s largest IT Park in Islamabad has been approved, marking a significant milestone in redefining the country’s tech landscape.

According to PTV News on Monday, the IT Park will be located in the G-10 sector of the federal capital, spanning an impressive 3.3 acres. This marks a crucial milestone in Pakistan’s journey toward technological advancement and economic growth

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is beginning the process of renting a large building in G-10 Markaz, Islamabad. It spans approximately 97,000 square feet, equivalent to 3.3 acres. They want to turn this building into a modern IT park.

The establishment of Pakistan’s largest IT Park in the region was recently approved by the CDA board, prompting this action.

Meanwhile, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is looking for companies that are interested in leasing the property for an initial period of fifteen years.  They want the chosen company to upgrade the old building into a top-notch IT park that meets international standards.

The spokesperson for the federal apex agency said that interested companies with a good track record in the industry, either on their own or as part of a partnership. The envisioned IT park they’re planning will provide all the needs of tech companies and their employees, including shared co-working spaces, support for startups, office spaces for SMEs, research centers, auditoriums, recreational activities, and much more.
