“Umm-e-Ayesha” Geo TV’s Drama Scene Gets Praise For Respecting Hijab

“Umm-e-Ayesha” is a lesson-oriented Ramadan drama serial broadcast on Geo Television. It was aired on the 1st of Ramadan. It airs every day at 6 pm. The storyline follows the journey of the young girl Ayesha, played by Nimra Khan.

7th Sky Entertainment presents the drama. The producers of the Umm-e-Ayesha drama serial are Abdullah Kadwani & Asad Qureshi.

The drama is directed by Saleem Ghanchi and written by Hina Huma Nafees. The cast also features Omer Shahzad, Nida Mumtaz, Eman Asim Mehmood, Ayesha Rajpoot, Mohsin Gillani, Mehmood Akhtar, Rehma Zaman, Beena Chaudhry, Tara Mahmood, Diya Rahman and others.

Ayesha was rejected during the interview because she wore a hijab. Afterward, another person who was listening to Ayesha’s conversation with the interviewer about wearing a hijab offered her a job. The scene was executed brilliantly.
