“AI: A Game-Changer for Freelancers” is the title of a compelling article published by Fast Company. The piece explores the notion that how right now is a great time for freelancers, due to the influence of artificial intelligence (AI).
Although the article mainly focuses on highly talented professionals who are going into a new role it calls “super builders”—-indicating extremely skilled white-collar tech workers, particularly those who are working at big tech companies such as Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google which are altogether known as (FAANG).

Even though the top 2% are very noticeable or “elite” freelance product builders and consultants and other freelancers who aren’t considered the best, generative AI offers significant opportunities for others to use AI to work better and make more money, no matter how highly they are rated.
It’s widely admitted that AI skills are very lucrative, on average AI skills typically earn between $141,000 to $220,000 as per estimates from Salary.com. In the competition for the best tech experts driving the AI revolution, some companies staggering salaries as high as $900,000. There’s a big demand for this skill set, tech startups and other businesses outside not focused on technology really want these skills because they need apps or products to make their work better. If you have an industry knowledge and experience in data science, Large Language Models (LLMs), and/or generative AI, you can give consultancy services, integrating artificial intelligence tools, guiding corporate clients on implementing and applications into their workflows and existing apps.

3.Software Development
Freelancers who are really good at making software can work on all sorts of freelance projects, from the Internet of Things (IoT) to e-commerce platforms, along with enterprise-level solutions and mobile apps.
Your job could involve giving tips, making suggestions, teaching others how to develop software, or even making the software yourself. This skill is highly adaptable and versatile.
